As regular attendance is an important requirement for successful result. It is compulsory for every student to maintain 85% attendance during the course of Academic session otherwise student will not be allowed to appear for Evaluation/ Examination that year. The percentage of attendance, however could be relaxed on medical grounds but such students would not be eligible to receive academic awards.
Leave will be sanctioned only for the urgent and unavoidable circumstances, or in case of sickness, on a written application from the parents/guardians to Principal.
No student, who has been absent on the previous day will be admitted to class without a letter from the parent, addressed to the Principal stating the reason for absence.
Students, who have been sick for more than three days could bring a medical certificate from their doctor.
A Student who is absent for continuous 7 days without getting leave, his/her name will be struck off from the roll. On re-admission, fee of Rs. 500 will be charged.
A student whose name has been struck off for absence and habitually late or persistently careless or indiscipline, may not be readmitted to the school.
Every student must be present on the re-opening day after each vacation.
It is advisable to ensure that a student is not disturbed during Examination days and is asked not to attend family functions.
All entries of absence, late or half-day leave should be made in the school diary.
A special certificate & award will be given to the student who will have 100% attendance.
